This Week's Bake: 4 Chocolate Chip Sourdough Brioche Twists
There is no elaborate history behind these buns - I simply invented them when I had leftover brioche dough and they turned out to be better than the thing I was actually making. Soft, naturally leavened, buttery dough is lightly flavoured with cardamom before being rolled up with brown sugar and lots of dark chocolate chips that melt in the oven to create a fudgy chocolate centre. A delicious breakfast treat!
